Our People

Pinpoint Earth is led by Amy Kean. Amy has over 10 years experience in international clean energy policy and carbon markets and has worked in business, government and non-profit entities. She has a practical understanding of the junction between policy and regulation and business opportunities. Her goal is to mainstream climate change solutions.

Amy is also a board member of the:

• South Australian Government Renewable Energy Board - Renewables SA
• Alternative Technology Association (ATA)
• Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) Regional Advisory Committee

Prior to Pinpoint Earth, she established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership¡¦s (REEEP) South East Asia and Pacific Secretariat and is now a strategic advisor to REEEP. Whilst with REEEP, Amy facilitated investment in clean energy projects and appropriate policy and regulatory environments in the region. Amy was the International General Manager at the Clean Energy Council and developed export opportunities and represented the clean energy industry internationally, including three of the recent United Nations Climate Change negotiations.

Previously Amy worked at Hydro Tasmania, Accenture Strategy Consulting and the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA - NSW) where she was involved in ground breaking programs such as Energy Smart Business and the world's first Building Greenhouse Rating scheme, NABERS Energy.

Amy¡¦s background is in Science, Arts and Law and is a fellow of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.
