1. Definitions.

"Participant" means an eligible reseller of HP Original Supplies in Australia which purchases the requisite amount of HP Original Supplies during the promotional period. Employees of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and its agencies (including, although not limited to resellers) associated with this promotion and those employees’ immediate families are ineligible to participate. HP Supplies Channel Health Resellers, HP Managed retail accounts and direct HP Supplies resellers are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

"HP Genuine Supplies" means any HP genuine ink, toner or paper purchased from Ingram Micro Australia, Synnex, Phoenix Toner, or Tonnex.

"Promoter" means Hewlett-Packard Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 74 004 394 763) of 353 Burwood Highway, Forest Hill, Victoria, 3131.

"promotional period" commences at 9.00 am (AEST) on 4 August 2008 and ends at 11.59 pm (AEST) on 1 February 2009. The Promoter may extend this date at its discretion.

2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By submitting an entry, the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions.

3. Participants need to open an HP Supplies Rewards account at http://www.hp.com.au/suppliesrewards. Each Participant is limited to one said account and must provide it's A.B.N .

4. Entry is only open to a Participant. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each claim for reward points.. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or person tampering with the reward process. The participant will earn two hundred reward points for each $100 (excluding GST) of Genuine HP Supplies purchased at an HP Authorised Distributor or Sub-distributor for the period from 4 August 2008 and 31 October 2008. The Promoter may extend this date at its discretion.. Each reward point earned will be credited to the Participant’s HP Supplies Rewards account within 30 days of the sales transaction. Reward points will only be credited for purchases of HP Original Supplies up to the value of $100,000 per annum (excluding GST). No reward points will be available or credited for cumulative purchases over this amount per annum. The per annum period will be measured 365 days from the transaction date of the first purchase after the account has been registered. For the period from 4 August 2008 and 31 August 2008, all valid registrations will receive 400 bonus reward points. Bonus points will be applied to the registrants account within 30 days of eligible registration.

5. To redeem reward points Participant must use their customer id number provided after registration at http://www.hp.com.au/suppliesrewards, and follow the redemption instructions on the website.

6. Reward points may be redeemed for the selection of products and gift cards available through the ipoints website. The selection of gifts available is up to the discretion of the promoter and may be changed at any time. Reward points are valid for redemption for a period of 6 months from the date of the purchase to which they relate. After this period of time they expire and the Promoter will not have any liability whatsoever to the Participant. Valid and unexpired reward points which are in the Participant's HP Supplies Reward account at the end of the promotional period will expire one month after the expiry of the promotional period notwithstanding the date of purchase to which they relate.

Points will accrue for this program from the previous Monday following receipt of acceptance of a partner to the HP Supplies Rewards program. For example, if a customer registers on a Tuesday the 2nd and gets a confirmation back from HP on the Friday 5th, the points for the full week from Monday the 1st onwards will apply. Similarly - if a customer registers on the Friday the 5th and is accepted on Tuesday the 9th, points will accrue from Monday the 8th. In summary, points will accrue from the previous Monday from the date of acceptance from HP and not registration date.

7. This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotional product bundle.

8. The Promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.

9. All prizes are subject to availability and may be replaced with another model of equal or greater value and the affected Participants will be notified accordingly.

10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorized intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to Participants' or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Participant invalid.

11. Reward points are not transferable or assignable.

12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s privacy policy may be viewed at: http://www.hp.com/country/au/eng/privacy.htm.

13. The Promoter will use the information contained in the competition entry form to contact Participants if it has any queries regarding claims, and to send prizes. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to its related bodies corporate and agencies assisting with the Promotion, which may be outside the participating country and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. If the information requested is not provided, Participant may not participate in this Promotion. If Participant gives his or her consent HP may contact Participant from time to time with information about special offers and products and services that may interest Participant, but Participant may unsubscribe later if Participant no longer wishes to receive further marketing information. Participant may also contact the Promoter to change his or her details.
